13th annual Youth Hockey Fights for Kids with Autism
Our annual event, Youth Hockey Fights for Kids with Autism, is scheduled for January 25th, 2025 from noon – 9 pm at Wings West, 5076 Sports Drive, Kalamazoo, MI 49009. This event helps support the families the Great Lakes Center for Autism Treatment and Research serves and its programs.
The 13th Annual Youth Hockey Fights for Kids with Autism event partners with the Kalamazoo Optimist Hockey Association (KOHA), the South Central High School Hockey League, the WMU Stallions (D3 team), and GLC. This event is on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at (5076 Sports Drive, Kalamazoo 49009) from noon to 9:00 pm. The goal is to raise over $20,000 to help the youth and families served with assistance with copays, coinsurance, out-of-pocket maximums, transportation costs, and GLC programs.
Game Schedule
12:15 pm – 2:30 pm – United vs. Eagles
2:45 pm – 5:00 pm – Portage vs. Capital City Capital
5:15 pm – 7:15 pm – Mattawan vs. Eastside Stars
8:00 pm –(D-3)WMU Stallions vs. CMU Chippewas
Before each game, a GLC graduate will participate in a ceremonial puck drop, a legislator will address the crowd, and high school students will perform the National Anthem. Additionally, there is a Chuck-a-Puck contest for great prizes during each game!

Opens Sunday, January 19 at noon and closes on Saturday, January 25 at 6:30 pm
